Don’t skip breakfast!

A Healthy breakfast is generally high in calcium, iron, vitamin C,  riboflavin, niacin and dietary fibre. Did you know Vitamin C helps Iron absorption?

Children will  perform better at school and adults will be more productive at work with a healthy breakfast.  Plus you are more likely to maintain a healthy weight!

Easy healthy breakfasts include:-

  • wholegrain breakfast cereal with fruit salad and reduced fat milk
  • wholegrain toast with baked beans or eggs and tomato. Hot or cold reduced fat milk, tea or coffee
  • porridge made with quick oats. Add apple or banana and reduced fat milk. Accompany with one small glass of freshly squeezed orange juice
  • Greek or plain yoghurt with fruit, sprinkled with seeds
